架空馬戲團

回味一下我十多年前迷得要死的MJ吧。這支MV就當年的水準而言本來就已經是超級大作，對我這個埃及迷更是尤其完美！可惜現在的年輕朋友們對MJ的印象，可能就只剩一個漂白過度、整形整得人不人鬼不鬼、鼻子動不動就會掉下來、常常在搞笑片裡被拿出來諷刺的戀童嫌疑犯了吧。關於MJ腦袋裡到底在想什麼、他作出瘋狂舉止的動機是什麼，我這個局外人實在不好多說話。不過，他教會了我一件事：看待藝術家、藝人、表演者時，藝術歸藝術，私生活歸私生活。

綜觀古今中外的藝術史，許多文學經典都是由失意潦倒的酒鬼作家所寫出，而被各大美術館視為珍寶的畫作，也有很多件是瀕臨瘋狂的畫家所完成。這不是說藝術家都一定是神經病，也不是說因為一個人是藝術家，所以他就有特權做些正常人不該做的事情。我想說的是，一個人本身和他所創作出來的作品間未必可以直接畫上等號，也未必有絕對的關連；評論他人私生活的大業，或許還是留給後人來蓋棺論定比較中肯。無論如何，至少對我而言，已然在現今演藝界漸漸黯淡的MJ仍然是我心目中永恆的king of pop，而他也永遠會是我所景仰的、複雜難解的天才藝術家。
